Traits of a bad parent

Recently I wrote a post about the best trait of a parent, so I thought it only fair to write about the worst traits of a parent.

The first bad trait i will call bullying.

In the old days kids were disciplined, but afterwards they got time to spend with dad and they understood why it happened.

It might have hurt a little, but the pain went and no emotional scars were left. Nowadays everything is emotional.

Its hard to understand but nowadays, all discipline has an emotional element to it, for example

• Grounding takes in account boredom, and a child hatred of being stuck at home
• The ‘I am disappointed in,’ you speech, shows rejection
• ‘I can’t wait until you are out of the house shows,’ emotional rejection, and not caring
• ‘You have disappointed me,’ shows anger and disappointment
